Greengable Pet Services is owned and operated by Bernadette Clarke.
"After many years in management roles I decided it was time to achieve my life long ambition and dedicate my time to working with animals. I have been the lucky owner of 3 dogs all wonderful in their own ways and 1 cat who lived to be the grand old age of 21. "
I feel very privileged to be able to follow my dream of working with animals and will take care of your much loved pets as if they were my own. Dog walks will be at local secure parks, and longer walks will sometimes be in wooded areas. What is guaranteed is that your dog/s will have lots of fun and treats on the walks.
I can adapt walks to suit all dogs, such as slower pace and shorter walks for elderly dogs and energetic walks for those dogs that have bags of energy.
As the owner of a very lively Jack Russell (called Fudge) I know how important it is to ensure that they get a good walk to expel all that energy.
About Us
Please note that ALL walks are on the lead, but if you prefer your dog to be off the lead then this can be done after 2-3 walks of getting to know each other and being sure that they will return when re-called and with your written consent.
Greengable Pet Services are moving our services to the Shrewsbury area in the Spring of 2020, we are currently taking requests for any new Customers - please contact us and we will contact you as soon as we are up and running in the area.
Prior to any engagements we will meet with you and your pets for an initial consultation to allow us all to get aquainted and to complete the relevant paperwork.
Your dog must have a collar or harness, an identification tag and be fully vaccinated.
Greengable Pet Services are fully qualified to look after your Pets, We are insured with Pet Business Insurance, DBS checked, and Certified in Pet First Aid.
We are proud members of the National Association of Registered Pet Sitters and have passed their LANTRA approved 'Pet Sitting and Dog walking Business Course'.

Bernadette looked after our two quite timid bunnies for a week whilst we went on holiday.The change in them from when we left to when we got back was obvious. It was clear to us that they'd been handled and played wih constantly. They have been a lot friendlier since and aren't as afraid of noises and of us picking them up as they were before.They were treated like little princesses with fresh fruit, vegetables and treats and we were treated to lots of photos upon our return.Bernie will be looking after our rabbits again and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending her services to anybody looking for a friendly pet sitter who you know your precious little babies will be safe with.

My little dog can be quite timid with new people but he took to Bernie straight away. She took him out for 60 mins and she was brilliant with him. I also got a pic and a video of him on facebook and a little report card which was a great little touch as some sitters dont give you any feedback. Will be using Greengable Pet Services again. Its going to give me that little bit of time to myself when i need it.
